The waveform parameters, including peak voltage, front time, and tail time, can be precisely adjusted to meet various testing requirements. High waveform accuracy ensures reliable and repeatable test results for both routine and type testing applications.
The impulse generator adopts a flexible modular structure consisting of impulse voltage and impulse current generation modules. Users can select individual modules or combine them according to specific testing applications. This design makes the system suitable for testing power transformers, distribution transformers, surge arresters, power cables, switchgear, insulators, GIS equipment, and surge protective devices.

How the System Works
The VS-ZGF200-5 converts AC input power into high-frequency voltage through PWM-controlled IGBT switching technology. The high-frequency voltage is then stepped up and rectified by the multiplier tower to generate stable DC high voltage output.
The digital control system continuously monitors output voltage and current during testing. When testing zinc oxide surge arresters, the dedicated 0.75UDC1mA function allows rapid and accurate measurement of reference voltage and leakage current values.
