VS-9501 80kV Insulating Oil Dielectric Strength Tester is developed according to GB/T507-2002 and DL/T846.7-2016 standards for dielectric strength testing of insulating oils. Serving as a high-precision system within our specialized insulating oil dielectric strength tester category, the instrument utilizes advanced microprocessor control technology and digital signal processing to deliver highly accurate and repeatable breakdown voltage measurements.
The system adopts a fully automatic testing process including oil sample resting, voltage ramping, breakdown detection, stirring, interval timing, and result analysis. Operators simply select the desired test standard and start the test procedure. The instrument automatically completes the entire testing sequence and generates test results.
A 7-inch color touchscreen interface provides intuitive operation and supports both Chinese and English languages. Multiple built-in testing standards including GB/T507-1986, GB/T507-2002, DL429.9, IEC156, and user-defined programs allow flexible testing according to different national and international requirements.
The instrument features millisecond-level breakdown voltage capture technology and direct high-voltage sampling architecture, ensuring high measurement accuracy and rapid transient response. Triple protection systems including cover interlock protection, overcurrent protection, and overvoltage protection provide maximum operator safety.
An optional infrared oil temperature measurement function enables real-time monitoring of sample temperature. Built-in temperature and humidity monitoring, data storage, thermal printer, RS232 communication interface, and intelligent oil quality analysis functions further enhance testing efficiency and traceability.

How the System Works
The VS-9501 automatically applies a controlled AC voltage across the insulating oil sample using a standardized electrode arrangement. The voltage increases at a selected rate until dielectric breakdown occurs. The instrument instantly captures the breakdown voltage value, automatically discharges residual voltage, and proceeds to the next test cycle according to the selected standard.
After completing all programmed test cycles, the instrument calculates average values, analyzes test consistency, and provides evaluation results to assist technicians in determining oil quality and insulation performance.
