10A Ground Continuity Tester | VS-2110
Product Details
The VS-2110 10A Ground Bond Tester is engineered for verifying the reliability of grounding connections in high-voltage power systems, substations, and industrial electrical installations. Grounding integrity plays a critical role in ensuring safe operation of electrical equipment, and poor connections may lead to increased resistance, equipment malfunction, or safety hazards. Functioning as an indispensable testing tool within our specialized earth resistance tester portfolio, the VS-2110 allows maintenance personnel to quickly identify high-resistance bonds, mechanical looseness, and corrosion defects in ground down-leads.
This instrument adopts a four-wire Kelvin measurement method, effectively eliminating the influence of lead and contact resistance to ensure high-accuracy results. It supports multi-level test currents including 10A, 5A, 1A, 100mA, and ultra-low current modes (≤10 mA), making it suitable for both low-resistance and high-resistance testing scenarios across a broad range from 200 μΩ to 50 kΩ.
The VS-2110 features a large 7-inch color LCD touchscreen with a user-friendly interface that allows operators to easily configure test parameters, monitor real-time resistance values, and manage stored data. It supports quick testing, continuous testing, and timed testing modes (up to 600 s) to meet different field requirements.
Built-in intelligent protection functions include open-circuit alarm, over-limit resistance alarm, and automatic discharge after testing. The system ensures operator safety while maintaining measurement stability in complex electromagnetic environments.
With integrated storage for up to 512 test records, RS232 communication, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB export capability, the VS-2110 enables seamless data management and remote analysis. An integrated thermal printer allows immediate hard-copy report generation on site. Its robust design and strong anti-interference performance make it suitable for long-term field operation in substations and industrial environments.

Product Guide
1. Preparation
Place the VS-2110 securely on a stable surface. Connect the instrument grounding terminal reliably to earth ground. Insert the four-wire Kelvin test leads into the dedicated current and voltage sockets on the front panel.
2. Startup & Lead Connection
Connect the power cord to an AC 200–240V supply and power on the unit. Attach the heavy-duty Kelvin clamps across the ground connection under test, ensuring clean metal contact on both sides of the joint.
3. Parameter Setup
Select the desired test mode (Quick, Continuous, or Timed Test) on the 7-inch color touchscreen. Choose the appropriate output test current (10A, 5A, 1A, or 100mA) and configure resistance alarm thresholds as required.
4. Measurement
Start the test run. The instrument automatically applies the regulated DC current and measures the resulting voltage drop using the 4-wire method, displaying real-time resistance values instantly on the screen.
5. Data Handling & Printing
Upon test completion, save the data into internal memory (up to 512 records). Print a physical test receipt using the integrated thermal printer or export test logs via USB/Bluetooth for report generation.
6. Shutdown
Stop the test cycle, switch off the power supply, disconnect the Kelvin test leads safely, and pack the instrument and accessories into the protective case.
