The VS-CLXZ540-270 Variable Frequency Series Resonance Test System is designed for high-voltage AC withstand voltage testing of electrical equipment used in power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial applications. By utilizing the principle of series resonance, the system significantly reduces the required input power while generating stable high-voltage output, making it ideal for field and laboratory testing.

The complete system consists of a 30kW variable frequency power supply, two excitation transformers, ten dry-type high-voltage reactors, a capacitive voltage divider, a compensation capacitor, and dedicated connection cables. The modular reactor design allows flexible series and parallel configurations to match different test objects and capacitance ranges.

The intelligent controller automatically searches for and maintains the resonance point throughout the testing process. Automatic, semi-automatic, and manual operating modes provide maximum flexibility for different testing requirements. Real-time monitoring of voltage, current, frequency, resonance status, and test duration ensures accurate and repeatable test results.

The system provides excellent electrical performance with waveform distortion less than 1%, resonance quality factor Q ≥ 30, and adjustable output frequency from 30Hz to 300Hz. Automatic voltage stabilization maintains output voltage within ±1.0%, ensuring reliable testing under varying load conditions.

Designed for demanding field applications, the equipment incorporates multiple protection mechanisms including overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, flashover protection, detuning protection, undervoltage protection, zero-position interlock, and emergency stop functions. How the System Works

The system generates an adjustable-frequency output through the variable frequency power supply and excitation transformers. By adjusting the operating frequency, the inductive reactance of the reactors matches the capacitive reactance of the test object, creating a series resonance condition.
