Product Detail

Products Details

VS-6628S Handheld Transformer Turns Ratio Tester is a high-precision transformer diagnostic instrument developed according to IEC standards and power industry testing requirements. Transformer ratio testing is an essential procedure during transformer manufacturing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and acceptance testing, helping identify winding short circuits, open circuits, incorrect connections, tap changer faults, and polarity issues. Designed to work smoothly alongside specialized Transformer Test Set configurations, the instrument adopts a full three-phase sine-wave inverter output with automatic voltage regulation technology, ensuring stable test signals and highly accurate measurement results. Built-in soft-start and soft-stop functions effectively protect both the instrument and the transformer under test.

Designed for maximum flexibility, the VS-6628S supports ratio and vector group testing for single-phase transformers, three-phase transformers, Z-type transformers, CTs, and PTs. The blind test function allows users to perform ratio and vector group measurements even when the transformer connection configuration is unknown.

The instrument automatically measures transformer turns ratio, ratio error, phase angle difference, vector group, excitation current, and polarity. The vector diagram is displayed directly on the screen, enabling technicians to quickly identify wiring configurations and transformer conditions.

A high-brightness 7-inch color touchscreen provides an intuitive user experience. Test records can be stored internally, exported to a USB drive in Word format, printed through the built-in printer, or transmitted via Bluetooth and RS232 communication interfaces for further analysis and reporting. Powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, the VS-6628S is ideal for both field and laboratory applications, providing excellent portability without sacrificing performance.
