Automatic Karl Fischer Moisture Tester
Products Details
Automatic Karl Fischer Moisture Tester is an intelligent laboratory instrument developed for the precise determination of trace moisture content using the internationally recognized Karl Fischer Coulometric Titration method. Serving as a foundational diagnostic system within our comprehensive oil test equipment range, this analytical technique provides exceptional sensitivity and accuracy, making it the preferred solution for measuring extremely low water content in insulating oils, petroleum products, organic solvents, chemical reagents, and other liquid samples.
The instrument automatically performs electrolyte balancing, moisture titration, endpoint detection, result calculation, and data display without manual intervention. Advanced digital control technology ensures stable electrolysis current, fast response speed, and highly repeatable measurement results.
The tester adopts a high-resolution LCD display with an intuitive operation interface, allowing users to easily configure testing parameters and monitor the complete titration process in real time. The built-in magnetic stirrer ensures uniform sample mixing, improving electrolysis efficiency and measurement accuracy.
The complete titration cell includes an electrolysis cell, measuring electrode, electrolytic electrode, drying tube, sample injection port, and magnetic stirring system. High-quality glass components provide excellent chemical resistance while minimizing environmental moisture interference during testing.
Widely used in transformer oil laboratories, power plants, petrochemical industries, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and quality inspection laboratories, the instrument provides fast, reliable, and repeatable moisture analysis for routine laboratory testing and industrial quality control.

How the System Works
The tester operates using the Karl Fischer Coulometric principle. After a sample is injected into the sealed titration cell, the moisture contained in the sample reacts quantitatively with the Karl Fischer reagent.
During the electrolysis process, iodine is generated automatically to react with water molecules. Once all moisture has been consumed, the instrument automatically detects the endpoint, calculates the water content, and displays the final result without manual calculation.
The built-in magnetic stirring system ensures complete mixing of the sample and electrolyte, providing stable electrolysis conditions and highly repeatable analytical performance.
