How the VS-5206 Works

The VS-5206 injects a stable high DC current into the test object through dedicated current leads while simultaneously measuring the voltage drop across the contact using separate sensing leads. Utilizing the four-terminal Kelvin measurement principle, the instrument eliminates lead resistance and calculates highly accurate contact resistance values.

After the selected current stabilizes, the tester automatically performs measurement and stops output upon completion. When operating at 500A or 600A, the instrument automatically activates a cooling cycle before the next measurement to maintain system reliability.
