Automatic Insulating Oil Kinematic Viscosity Tester | VS-9807
Products Details
VS-9807 Automatic Insulating Oil Kinematic Viscosity Tester is developed for the precise determination of kinematic viscosity and dynamic viscosity calculation of Newtonian liquid petroleum products. Serving as a crucial analytical solution complementary to our transformer oil water content tester instruments, the system measures the flow time of a specified liquid volume through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a constant temperature, automatically calculating the viscosity value according to international testing standards.
The system utilizes advanced fuzzy PID temperature control technology to achieve exceptional temperature stability and measurement accuracy. Multiple preset temperature points including 20°C, 40°C, 60°C, 80°C, and 100°C are available, while users can also set any custom temperature between ambient temperature and 120°C.
A high-definition color touchscreen interface provides an intuitive operating environment. The instrument can simultaneously operate two capillary viscometers under the same temperature conditions, significantly improving laboratory efficiency and sample throughput.
The entire testing procedure is fully automated, including sample injection, sample lifting, timing detection, waste discharge, cleaning, drying, viscosity calculation, result storage, and report printing. The system automatically eliminates abnormal timing results that exceed allowable tolerance limits and calculates the average value according to standard testing requirements.
With intelligent data management, built-in thermal printing, automatic calibration functions, and dual-station operation capability, the VS-9807 delivers reliable and repeatable viscosity analysis for modern oil testing laboratories.

How the System Works
The VS-9807 measures the time required for a specific volume of oil to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a precisely controlled temperature. The instrument automatically records flow time, applies the capillary constant, and calculates the kinematic viscosity value.
During testing, the system automatically performs sample injection, capillary filling, timing detection, viscosity calculation, waste discharge, cleaning, and drying operations without operator intervention. Multiple test cycles can be performed automatically, and the instrument removes invalid readings before calculating the final viscosity result.
