VS-CLXZ270-108 270kVA 108kV Series Resonance Test System is specifically developed for field and laboratory AC withstand voltage testing of medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment. By utilizing the principle of series resonance, the system produces high-voltage output while significantly reducing the required input power, improving testing efficiency and reducing operating costs.
The complete system consists of a variable frequency power supply, dual excitation transformers, eight dry-type high-voltage reactors, a capacitive voltage divider, a compensation capacitor, and dedicated connection cables. Through flexible series and parallel combinations of the reactors, the system can accommodate a wide range of test objects including long-distance XLPE power cables, power transformers, switchgear, and instrument transformers.
The intelligent frequency converter automatically locates the resonance point and maintains stable resonance throughout the testing process. Operators can choose between automatic, semi-automatic, and manual operating modes according to field requirements. Real-time monitoring of voltage, current, frequency, resonance status, and test duration ensures accurate and repeatable test results.
The system provides excellent electrical performance with waveform distortion below 1%, resonance quality factor Q ≥ 30, and output frequency adjustable from 30Hz to 300Hz. How the System Works
The system generates an adjustable frequency output through the variable frequency power supply and dual excitation transformers. By changing the operating frequency, the inductive reactance of the reactors matches the capacitive reactance of the test object, creating a series resonance condition.
At resonance, high voltage is generated across the test object while only a small amount of power is drawn from the power source. This significantly improves testing efficiency and minimizes power requirements.
